The Developer mode is a mode that can helps you to increase the performance potential of your android system. In brief, developer mode can be designated to any of the more developed actions related to the most developed settings of your android and which are hidden from view as they are not always requested by you and most users.
You can enable developer mode if you need to modify the operating system or if you need to launch an application that has advanced level such as upgrading operating system, boosting game performance and enhancing graphics speed. Once you enable developer mode on Android, you are granted special access to various data, and features that are usually hidden from your access by default.
How to Enable Android Developer Mode:
To activate the developer mode, you must first unhide the developer options menu that features an extensive range of additional options. The Developer Options menu can be opened by simply going straight to About the Phone from the settings menu.
Depending on the version of your Android used by your device, a different range of developer options will be available. The developer options menu on almost all Android devices is obscured from display by default. However, on Android 4.1 and below, the Developer Options panel is displayed by default.
To turn on Android developer mode on Android 7.1 and below:
->Go to “Settings”.
->Select “About Phone“.
->Tap “Build number” seven times at the bottom.
To turn on Android developer mode on Android 8.0.0 and 8.1.0:
->Go to “Settings”.
->Select “System”.
->Select “About Phone“.
->Tap “Build number” seven times at the bottom.
To turn on Android developer on Android 9 and above:
->Go to “Settings”.
->Select “About Phone“.
->Find “Build number” at the bottom and tap it seven times
The message “You are now a developer” will appear. Now, go back to settings again to check for Developer options that will be shown this time.
->Select “Developer options.“
->Turn on “Developer options” (If not already turned on).
You can turn off Android developer mode any time.
How to enable USB debugging on android
In the Developer Options menu, you can use the debugging tool that allows Android Studio and other SDK tools to detect your device when it is connected via USB. To do this, go to Developer options menu, scroll down to the Debugging section to enable the USB debugging.
Enable USB debugging on android 7.1 and below:
-> Go to Settings
-> Select Developer Options
-> Enable USB debugging
Enable USB debugging on android 8.0.0 and 8.1.0:
-> Go to Settings
-> Select System
-> Select Developer Options
-> Enable USB debugging
Enable USB debugging on android 9 and above:
-> Go to Settings
-> Select System
-> Select Advanced
-> Select Developer Options
-> Enable USB debugging
Now, press OK to Allow USB debugging in the window that opens.
