How to Clear Browsing History or Delete Search History on PC

Monitor history and other browsing data is easy to control, such as saved form entries and remove all your data or just some of it from a specific time.

To clear browsing history on your computer, first, you will need to turn off the synchronization mode, since the items that are synchronized will be deleted on all of your synchronized devices at the same time.

►Delete browsing history Chrome

Method 1

Open Google Chrome

Click on the three dots () at the top right corner, then click on More tools and finally on Clear browsing data

Select a time period, from Last hour to All time

Select the specific data types you want to delete (Delete Basic or Advanced navigation data)

Select which items to delete instead of deleting entire categories of your browsing data

Click Clear data

Method 2

Click on the three dots () at the top right corner

Select History

Select History again

Select Clear browsing data

Select a time period, from Last hour to All time

Select the specific data types you want to delete (Delete Basic or Advanced navigation data)

Select which items to delete instead of deleting entire categories of your browsing data

Click Clear data

►Clear browsing history Firefox

Method 1

Open Mozilla Firefox

Click on the menu button in the upper right corner

Select Settings

Select Privacy & Security

Click on Clear Data… in the Cookies and Site Data section or Clear History in the History section

Click on the button of the data you wish to clear (Check the box in front of Cookies and Site Data and or Cached Web Content) or with the time range in the Clear Recent History

Click on Clear button or OK

Method 2

Click on the menu button

Click on History

Select Clear Recent History

Select Everything from the drop-down menu, of the time range

Select the list of items to be deleted

Click on OK button

►Clear browsing history Edge

Method 1

Open Microsoft Edge

At the top right corner of the browser, select Settings and More (Alt+F)

Settings

↪ Privacy, search, and services

Select Choose what to clear, Under Clear browsing data (Clear browsing data now)

From the Time Range drop-down menu, pick a time range

Select the types of data you want to delete

Select Clear now

Method 2

At the top right corner of the browser, select Settings and More (Alt+F)

↪ History

Select More options

Select Clear browsing data

Select Choose what to clear, Under Clear browsing data (Clear browsing data now)

From the Time Range drop-down menu, pick a time range

Select the types of data you want to delete

Select Clear now
