Florida Free Kosher Meal Program for Families with Children
The Free Kosher Meal program is a food distribution program that helps Florida families with children from 1 to 18 years old. Its objective is to offer this families enough food for a whole week at breakfast and lunch.
It is organized by Teach Florida, Tomchei Shabbos of Florida, Kosher Koop, Bais Yaakov Miami, Hebrew Academy, Chabad of Inverrary and Torah Academy of Jacksonville.
In order to apply for this program, you have to register for kosher food online first.
The registration to this program opens every Friday or perhaps earlier and closes the following Sunday or later depending on the number of requests. It’s currently open for the week of February 23rd to 25th and will close on Monday, February 22nd at 3:00 PM.
Unfortunately, the food pick up is not available in every city of Florida, but If you need food, I advise you to be quick and to register before the online form closes. You can check from 6 locations to register at the one closest to your address and find your pick-up day and time.

After filling out the form, you will receive a confirmation email and then another confirmation for Kosher food pick up one day before the pick-up date.
On pick up day remember to bring a piece of paper on which you write your first name / last name and the number of your children, to be shown at the time of your food pick up.
Your email will be automatically saved to receive notifications each time the following week’s registry opens.

The six locations listed above are subject to change each week, so once you receive an email to register for the program, make sure that the location from which you were previously benefitted remains available.
Orlando city was on their list before and it was there where, along with my husband and our children, I had the pleasure of enjoying this program. They always gave us two big boxes full of food of all kinds, both sweet and salty, such as milk boxes, yogurts, juices, cakes, meats… a mixture of all kinds of food that really served us for a very long time.
Since this program was very interesting for me, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chabad of South Orlando for their great help, their incredible service and their food that was varied every week and so so delicious😋😋.
